"We should be proud of our "City" & show it off to its best potential. I love where I was raised and brought up and we should show it at its best x"

"It is one of the focal points of the city (otherwise why would vandals bother with it?) but I wonder if it is not given as high a regard as the Abbey or City Chambers. But honestly, I think the overall state of the High Street means many local people do not feel a sense of pride about it. It is looking very shabby. I also think it would be great for Dunfermline to revive the HIgh Street by starting initiatives like have happened in Manchester to attract a more vibrant variety of shops and places for young people to hang out so they are encouraged to take a pride in their city.
