Heritage & History
"Having lived in Dunfermline for nearly 10 years and moving from a much larger city full of history, I understand the importance this piece plays in the history of the city. With increasing visitors on a daily basis the first impression the damage is giving is very poor. "

Heritage & History
"Historic centre of the auld capital of Scotland. Not only that I think that a representation of the old Ports/Gates e.g. East Port, West Port etc. should be rebuilt around our town centre to kickstart a restoration of our long history. Also the facades of the shops in the High Street should be made to adhere to a design which reflects our heritage and history and not the plastic carbuncles that currently adorn shops like BetFred etc. "
